A Round Serving Tray with a Radiating Star

A woven tray made by a St'at'imc (Lillooet) artist, in the UBC Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver, catalogue number D1.292. Trays of this kind were used for food preparation and serving, and later made for sale. The St'at'imc share the Interior Salish weaving tradition with the neighbouring Secwepemc and Nlaka'pamux nations.
